No houses demolitions in Ndola-Kasongo

Nusenge Mulimba-Copperbelt Province Permanent Secretary AUGUSTINE KASONGO has dismissed reports that the Local Authority in NDOLA has demolished over 1,500 houses in Kulumpe area of Bwana Mukubwa Constituency.

Mr. KASONGO has told Journalists in Ndola that no such action has been taken by the council.

He has since condemned the riotous behavior exhibited by the residents of Kulumpe area and warned that the government will not allow lawlessness.

The PS further disclosed that according to information he has received there has been a protracted land wrangle between FQM and Malberry in Ndola.

Mr. KASONGO added that Malberry has obtained a court order to repossess their land which has been invaded by squatters.
