NO FAVOURITISM IN TEACHER RECRUITMENT – KAMOKO

By Mark Ziligone:

The Ministry of Education says there will be no favouritism in this year’s teacher recruitment exercise as purported by some opposition political parties.

Education Permanent Secretary Technical Service JOEL KAMOKO says the recruitment exercise will be done on merit.

Mr. KAMOKO has told ZNBC News in Lusaka that this is because Government wants to allow all applicants to compete favorably.

He said the new dawn administration will not go back to using a wrong teacher recruitment method.

Mr. KAMOKO said part of Government’s commitment is to remain focused and stay away from using vices that divided the country in the recruitment exercises.
