Nkana Queens Captain Grace Kapansa and five others fined and banned by FAZ

Nkana Queens captain Grace Kapansa and five other players that include Susan Mwewa, Gorrete Chileshe, Tamara Mhango, Taonga Phiri, and Nelly Muwowo have been banned from participating in all FAZ league matches for the current women’s football season and the entire next season for Violent Conduct and Unsporting behavior that was exhibited during an abandoned FAZ Women’s Super League Match Week 9 against Zambian Institute for Sustainable Development (ZISD) Women Football played at Lusaka’s Independence Stadium.

Each of the six players will have to pay a fine of K1000 each during a stipulated period.

This is according to the letter dated 26th June 2021 accessed by the ZamFoot Crew written by the now put on leave General Secretary Adrian Kashala.

Furthermore, the six respondent players to further collectively raise an amount of Two Thousand Five Hundred Kwacha(K2, 500) for the medical bills incurred by the two injured Match officials namely Alice Chanda (Center Referee) and Chalwe Siatontola (Assistant Referee)

The Disciplinary Committee also ordered Nkana Queens for the aforementioned players to undergo intensive counseling from registered Organizations or Institutions and provide periodic feedback on the respondents to FAZ and the results with the status report on the outcome of the Counselling sessions.

The six respondents have the right to appeal against the decision of the committee in line with articles 43 and 45 of the Disciplinary Code.
