NKANA LOSS PAINFUL -KAINDU

Nkana Coach Kelvin Kaindu says it was painful to see his side lose one-nil to Angolan side Petro De Luanda despite having played better.

Kaindu says Nkana played better than their opponents but were unfortunate not to have scored in the game.

He stated that Nkana failed to utilise many of their chances and allowed the home side to score.

Kaindu added that the one-all draw recorded in Kitwe also cost the Zambian side who have now dropped to the CAF Confederation Cup.

He said it was unfortunate that the team disappointed football fans who were so expectant of a win.

Kaindu said a lot of work will be done to refine the team if they are to compete favorably in the Confederation Cup.

He further stated that the technical bench will ensure the team starts scoring especially that chances are already being created.

Nkana were yesterday beaten one-nil by Angolan side Petro De Luanda in the CAF Champions league second leg match played in Luanda.
