Ng’andu Magande, Dambisa Moyo and Clive Chirwa to be in Lungu’s new cabinet
Ng’andu Magande
Former Finance Minister in the Levy Mwanawasa administration, Ng’andu Magande, is expected to bounce back to cabinet in the same portfolio. Magande, arguably one of the best Finance Minister, was at the helm of the Ministry of Finance when the country managed to attain the Highly Indebted Poor Countries (HIPC) completion point.
Others expected to enter the new cabinet are Economist and world acclaimed author of the Best seller – Dead Aid, Dambisa Moyo, as National Planning and Economical Development Minister. Professor Clive Chirwa is expected take the Mines, Energy and Water Development Portfolio. MMD factional leader Felix Mutati is expected to bounce back at Commerce.
Dora Siliya is expected to take up the Information and Communication portfolio as Dr Chishimba Kambwili moves to Transport, works and supply. PF deputy spokesperson and former catholic priest Frank Bwalya is expected to take up the newly created Religious Affairs.
President-elect Lungu is expected to make his cabinet soon after inauguration.
