New Kabwe Warriors Chairman targets winning the 2022/2023 Super league

New Kabwe Warriors Chairman Mutale Ng’andu wants the Kabwe based side to hit the ground running under his leadership and win the league.

Ng’andu who has been in the Kabwe Warriors executive since 2017 says he wants the team to return to it’s glory days as it is unfortunate that they have been coming out as an average side in recent years.

The new Chairman has promised to embrace everyone including those who may not agree that he is the man to lead the magnificent People’s team.

“I have been in Kabwe Warriors since 2017 and today has created a new dimension which has allowed me to serve in a new portfolio as the Chairman. The message I have for the fans and the stakeholders is to be patient with me because I know there will be high expectations there,” he said.

“Obviously everyone will be looking at what my predecessors have done but am here to do the best for Kabwe Warriors and not to compete with my predecessors. I know there will be time people will criticize me but I will just accept criticism and that’s what will make me. I will embrace everyone for the good of the club.

“Going forward, Of course Kabwe Warriors is known as a legendary club and i want to see Kabwe Warriors get back to it’s glory days. We should be winning the league. It’s so unfortunate that we have always come out as an average team of late but the plans going forward is to hit the ground running, winning the league come 2022/2023. We surely have to represent the country going forward.

“I should mention that the outgoing chairman is a man who gave a friendly atmosphere and served Kabwe Warriors diligently, and had an open door policy,” he added.

Ng’andu has taken over from Hayden Dingwall following the end of his tenure.

Kabwe Warriors finished eighth in the just ended Super League season.
