New HIV infections among youth worry Masebo

Government has called on communities to take lead in preventing new HIV infections especially among young people.

And, Health Minister SYLVIA MASEBO has called on communities to promote HIV Prevention, treament , Care and Support.

Speaking when she launched the 2023 World AIDS Day at ZNBC today, Ms MASEBO said government through President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA, will create and enabling environment to facilitate community participation in the provision and access to HIV services.

Ms MASEBO said the day provides an opportunity for communities to unite in response to HIV and AIDS.

This year’s World AIDS DAY ,which falls on December 1st 2023 will be held under the theme, Let Communities Lead.
