NEW CONGRESS GENERAL CONFERENCE SET

The New Congress Party is set to hold its General Conference on 8th May, 2021 in Lusaka.

Party General Secretary Daniel Nyati says this is in preparation for this year’s General Election to be held on 12 August 2021.

He stated that the New Congress Party was registered in 2004 and that what the party is doing is in accordance with the laws of Zambia on the principles of promoting peace, unity, stability and productivity.

Mr. Nyati explained that the party is inviting applications from the general membership across the country who may be willing to contest for the position of Party President and also members of the National Executive Committee.

He said all applications are expected to reach his office by close of 5th May, 2021.
