MMD president Nevers Mumba has endorsed opposition UPND presidential candidate Hakainde Hichilema for the August 11 elections.

Speaking at a joint press briefing Dr Mumba declared that change had begun.

Dr Mumba signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Hichilema for the two parties to work together in the August elections.

And Hichilema thanked Dr Mumba and his team saying it was important for the country to unite to ensure PF is voted out in August.

Hichilema told Dr Mumba that the UPND is resolved to win the election in the first round. He said there will be no rerun as the opposition will get over 50 percent in the first round.
