NDC to campaign for UPND in Chilanga

The Chishimba Kambwili led opposition NDC has endorsed the candidature of Charmaine Musonda of UPND.

NDC is not contesting in Chilanga after their candidate allegedly to have been ‘bought’ disappeared on the day of nominations making the party to missed the filing in of nominations. He has since joined the PF.

Now NDC has announced that it will campaign for the UPND candidate in Chilanga.

NDC National Youth Chairperson Charles Kabwita disclosed this in a statement below:

Elections come and go. But the struggle of the people to create a government which represents all of us and not just the one percent – a government based on the principles of economic, social, racial and environmental justice. Therefore let us remain peaceful as will campaign in Chilanga constituency.

To my dear sister Charmaine Musonda, my party NDC, has endorsed you and promise to join hands with your UPND, to ensure that you are elected member of National Assembly of Zambia.

I will come to Lusaka to work with you, to my fellow youths in chilanga constituency vote for Charmaine Musonda as an MP.

God bless chilanga constituency and it’s people.
