Clubs in Lusaka have heightened preparations for the 2024 National Age Group Swimming Championship.
This year’s hosts of the Championship are the Torpedo Swim club, who were recently crowned winners of the fourth league gala.
And Club Coach ALLAN NICHOLS says the overall objective is to ensure that the Swimmers clock good times and have better personal best records.
NICHOLS says he is confident the club will emerge overall winners of the National Age Group Championship.
And NATANIA CHAMA, who swims for the Kapentas, is confident of breaking more national records having already smashed two records previously.
The youngest swimmer at the championship is KEVIN HAABAZOKA aged six.
The National Age Group Championship will be held this coming weekend at the Legacy Swimming Pool in Lusaka.
