Napsa ‘honor’ Janza with the Technical Director job

Zambia Super League side Napsa Stars has appointed former Chipolopolo Boys head coach Honor Janza as their new technical director.

The club confirmed the development in a press statement made available to the ZamFoot Crew. Honor was until yesterday head coach of Eswatini top side Mbabane Swallows where he spent a year before asking to leave the club.

“Napsa Stars Football Club is delighted to announce the appointment of Mr. Honour Janza to the newly created role of Technical Director. Mr. Janza will oversee all the operations of the club including supervising the technical teams for both the senior and junior teams as well as performing the administrative functions.

The new Napsa Technical Director comes with vast experience in coaching and football administration having served as head coach at various clubs in Zambia and at the highest national level as Zambia national team coach. He also served as Technical Director at the Football Association of Zambia. His last assignment was in Swaziland as Head Coach for Mbabane Swallows FC.”

Napsa Board Chairperson, Dr. Greg Chola Nsofu is confident Janza will add great value to the team especially as they start there continental journey.

“I’m happy to announce that we have engaged Mr. Janza to help in steering the club to greater heights as Technical Director in line with our strategic plan. Mr, Janza is a man of great experience which I have no doubt will change the club’s fortunes even as we embark on our continental journey.” Dr. Nsofu said.

Janza will work with head coach Mohammed Fathi to help Napsa Stars do well as they start their CAF Confederation Cup campaign.
