NALUMANGO WANTS MALNUTRITION ELIMINATED

Vice President MUTALE NALUMANGO says nutrition has a lot of impact on human and capital development hence the need to approach it in a multi-sectoral way.

Mrs. NALUMANGO says her office will work together with all ministries to eliminate malnutrition in the country.

The Vice President was speaking upon arrival from Abidjan, Ivory Coast where she went to attend a two day high-level African Union-AU meeting.

Mrs. NALUMANGO said the Abidjan Declaration that was recently declared in Ivory Coast will also help to guide the country on how to achieve its goals of eliminating malnutrition.
