NAKONDE-KANYALA ROAD CONSTRUCTIONS TO START

Constructing of the 86 kilometre stretch of the Nakonde-Kanyala Street in Muchinga Province is residence to start following the appointment of a consultant.
Muchinga Province Minister Malozo Sichone disclosed this in Isoka District.
Mr. Sichone who is moreover Isoka Member of Parliament, said Street Improvement Company (RDA) has been appointed as engineering consultant for the upgrade of the Nakonde/Kanyala Street.
Mr. Sichone said the contract to upgrade the Street has been awarded to a Chinese language contractor, China Snarl Constructing Firm who obtain since got a first rate of 30 million Kwacha.
And Isaac Siwale, a resident of Nzoche educated ZANIS in an interview that upgrading the Nakonde /Kanyala Street to will run up pattern in the residence.
Mr. Siwale said the resolution by executive to upgrade the avenue on the different facet of the border is long overdue for the reason that Malawian executive has already upgraded the avenue as a lot as Chitipa border.
The route serves as a shortest path to the port of Dar -es-salaam in Tanzania and the Good Lakes Predicament by activity of the Port of Mpulungu in Northern Province.
