Mwape still not satisfied despite 6-0 Angola rout

Copper Queens Coach BRUCE MWAPE says the team will be aiming to finish off Angola in the reverse fixture despite the 6-0 triumph in the first leg .

Yesterday Zambia beat Angola six nil in the first leg of the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations WAFCON qualifier fixture played in Luanda.

And Speaking after the game MWAPE said the fixture is far from over.

He says so far the team has accounted well for it self adding that the reverse fixture to be played at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium on the 5th of December will give the young players an opportunity to show case their skills.

The Copper Queens gaffer also disclosed that the team will work on its possession as that was a key lapse in the yesterday’s game.

 

MWAPE has since called on the football fans to turn up for the game promising that the it will be electric one to watch.

 

And Angolan Coach SOUSA GARCIA has conceded defeat.

 

GARCIA says lack of a competitive league is what led to the team’s demolition but however said they will turn up in Ndola and fulfil the fixture. .

 

And Copper Queens hat trick heroine BARBRA BANDA credited her sublime performance to team work.

 

And Defender LUSHOMO MWEEMBA who scored Zambia’s opening goal admitted that netting the opener settled the team’s nerves and helped motivate them to score more goals.
