MWANAKAMPWE WARNS ON ABUSE OF GOVT VEHICLES

Central Province Permanent Secretary, MILNER MWANAKAMPWE says the impunity of abusing government vehicles must be stopped because it is a huge cost on the national treasury.

Mr MWANAKAMPWE, who led a team of officers in an operation to monitor compliance among government vehicle users, says there is need for more strict measures to curb the abuse of government vehicles.

He says the impunity will not be tolerated and has warned that the provincial administration in Central Province will not give any government vehicle the right of passage without the relevant documents.

Mr MWANAKAMPWE observed that most drivers were driving government motor vehicles over the weekend without the weekend pass, log book and the competency cards.
