Mwakalombe calls for Strong Business Partnerships

Copperbelt Province Minister Japhen Mwakalombe says there is need for local and foreign investors to form strong and reliable partnerships that will enhance economic activities in the province.Mr. Mwakalombe says government has played its role by putting in place supporting infrastructure that will stimulate investment in the province.He says government through the provincial administration will always make sure that a friendly business environment is in place.Mr. Mwakalombe said this today when a team of business executives from Cornelder de Mozambique from Mozambique paid a courtesy call on him at his office in Ndola.And Cornelder Marketing Officer, Vanessa Naviciso said the company is taking advantage of the already existing business community in the province to grow their company.Ms. Naviciso said there is need for an increase in business opportunities among countries in the region.She said to this effect, the company has organised a second business conference to be held at Ndola’s Protea hotel on September 27, 2019 where over 150 delegates are expected to attend.Ms. Naviciso  said the conference which will include officials from the Mozambican government is expected to build capacity among business executives and also provide solutions on how to expand infrastructure such as rail between Zambia and Mozambique.
