MUTATI PLEDGES TO SCALE UP INTERNET ACCESS

Technology and Science Minister FELIX MUTATI has pledged to scale up accessibility of the internet in the country to boost business activities.

Mr. MUTATI says fast and accessible internet is key to speeding up business transactions.

He says the government is alive to the benefits of the internet in business as evidenced by the recent launch of the Five Generation Technology commonly referred to as “5G”.

Mr. MUTATI He was speaking in Lusaka today during the Business Convention for innovators and entrepreneurs.

Meanwhile Mr. MUTATI revealed that the government will soon come up with a law to govern upcoming small business enterprises.

He said the boom in business activities boosts economic growth.

At the same function ABSA Bank Head Customers Network MAUREEN CHISHIMBA expressed delight that young Zambians have shifted from dependence on white Collar jobs.

And an Agribusiness Personnel DAVID NKOMA called on business prospectors to be innovative and persevere.
