Munali gets CDF Projects

The construction of a Police Post in Kamanga Compound and a classroom block at Chelston Secondary School have been completed.

The two projects have been built using the 2023 Constituency Development Funds -CDF- under Munali Constituency.

Chainda Ward Councilor PATRICK NSAMA has commended government for bringing education closer to the people by the construction of the One by three classroom block.

Speaking during an interview with ZNBC News at Chelston Secondary School, Mr. NSAMA said the classroom block will officially be handed over once furniture has been sourced.

He also disclosed that construction of a One by Six double storey classroom block at the same school has been approved using the 2024 CDF.

Meanwhile, Chakunkula Ward 37 Councilor CHIMUKA NJOOMONA thanked government for providing a Police Post in Kamanga Compound.

Mr. NJOOMONA said the compound has for many years witnessed criminal cases and the coming of the Police Post will enhance security in the area.
