MUMBA NODS CLERGY

By Mary Mwiinga:MMD President Nevers Mumba says it is important to honour and celebrate the clergy because of the important role they play in society.Dr Mumba says Zambia today prides itself as a Christian nation because of the sacrifices made by men and women of God through preaching of the gospel.He was speaking during a memorial service for the late German-born evangelist Reinhard Bonnke who died at the age of 79 last December.The service was organized and hosted by Praise Christian Center International in Lusaka.Dr. Mumba who is founder and President of Victory Ministries International said the growth of Christianity in Zambia cannot be told without the mention of Reverend Bonnke.Meanwhile Gospel Outreach Fellowship Senior Pastor Reverend Helmut Reutter called for continued preaching of the gospel in Zambia.And Living Word Ministries Overseer Reverend Moses Chiluba said the late reverend Bonnke mentored many men and women of God around the world.
