MUKWITA LAUDS GERMANY FOR COVID -19 FUNDS

Zambian Ambassador to Germany Anthony Mukwita has thanked the German partners for the Covid-19 financial assistance amounting to 28 point 7 Million Euros.

Mr. Mukwita says the funds were given last year when the pandemic broke.

He says Zambia has remained a preferred investment destination despite the Covid-19 pandemic .

Mr. Mukwita was speaking during a web meeting held with the top Advisor for Africa to Chancellor Angela Merkel Dr. Gunter Nooke.

And Dr. Nooke said Zambia is a good destination for Agro investment.

Meanwhile, Southern African country to the state of Lower Saxony Victor Khune said Germany should escalate Agro business relations with Zambia in order to create jobs and reduce poverty.

This is according to a statement issued by the, First Secretary Press at the Zambian embassy in Germany Kellys Kaunda.
