Mugalu is a Lusaka Dynamos player…. As transfer saga to Zesco unfolds

According to the ZamFoot Crew sources close to the player, Mugalu signed a new deal with Lusaka Dynamos last year which runs up to December 2021.

DID HE SIGN FOR ZESCO?

Zesco United and the player agreed a deal in July and the Congolese forward signed a pre-contract with the Ndola giants and was given an undisclosed amount of money at the time. The ZamFoot Crew understands that there was no contact between the two clubs but between the player and Zesco United at this stage.

“He was paid for the pre-contract and Lusaka Dynamos have already indicated to Zesco United that they are willing to pay-off the same money,” the source stated.

“Why do you think Zesco have not unveiled the player after releasing the statement? They know the status if the player and it is surprising that they announced his signing,” the source added.

IS MUGALU PUSHING FOR A MOVE TO ZESCO?

The source stated that Mugalu was owed money by Lusaka Dynamos at the time he signed the pre-contract and he was getting frustrated with the status quo at Dynamos.

Lusaka Dynamos however cleared all their outstanding dues to their Captain before the end of the year and the player is comfortable in Lusaka.

The ZamFoot Crew understands that Lusaka Dynamos are willing to sale Mugalu for the right price but are reluctant to sale him to a local league side and prefer a foreign club to acquire his services should he leave the club.

They have been tight lipped on the transfer but look to be in a comfortable seat as the situation unfolds but it understood that the matter has been already been reported to FAZ.
