Muchinga Province records zero audit queries

ZANIS-Muchinga province has recorded zero queries in audit controls in the last 3 years

Acting Provincial Permanent Secretary, JONATHAN NGONGA has attributed this to high levels of professionalism.

Mr NGON’GA was speaking when Controller of Internal Government Audit, CHIBWE MULONDA called at his office in Chinsali district.

He has since noted that this good performance can only be maintained with the intervention of the Ministry of Finance, through staff trainings.

And Mr MULONDA has said government is committed to improving prudent financial management with the aim of recording zero audit queries in all public institutions.

Mr MULONDA also says there is greater need for conceited efforts amongst all key players such as administrators, accountants auditors as well as the public in general.
