By Wilson Mulinda

The Football Association of Zambia -FAZ- says it will either Start the 2022/2023 MTN Super league season with 18 teams or replace the suspended ones.

This follows the Suspension of Buildcon and Lusaka Dynamos for failing to comply with FIFA verdicts on their players’ transfer policies.

FAZ General Secretary ADRIAN KASHALA says the Association has written to several teams that may wish to replace Buildcon and Lusaka Dynamos and is waiting for a response before the start of the season.

KASHALA has told Journalists that FAZ has held meetings with the suspended teams but they still do not meet the he guidelines.

He has since cautioned teams, especially those owned by individuals to buy players within their financial capacity to avoid facing such charges.

KASHALA said there is no need for a team to attract high profile footballers if they do not have the finances to pay them.
