MPONDELA CHALLENGES SUSPENDED ATHLETES

The Zambia Athletics Association -ZAA- says there is need for character transformation among the suspended athletes if they are to be called back .

2019 All Africa games Gold medalist Sydney Siame and Hazemba Chindamba are serving a suspension based on displinary grounds.

And ZAA President Elias Mpondela says there is no room for undisciplined athletes because they have a negative effect on the  work of the administration and team .

He says -ZAA- does not mistreat its athletes further stating that those spreading  falsehood are people who are fighting the current executive.

Mpondela has also disclosed that the association is in talks with the Nkwazi sports director so that they can find a way of helping  the duo become better athletes in conduct.

He  further said undisciplined athletes will not be allowed to represent the country at international competitions.
