Moroccan King Mohammed VI extols President Lungu

HIS Majesty King Mohammed VI of the Kingdom of Morocco has acknowledged that there has been a quantum leap in the diplomatic and political relations between Zambia and Morocco under the leadership of His Excellency Mr Edgar Chagwa Lungu.

His Majesty King Mohammed VI says He values the brotherly African bonds that exist between Zambia and Morocco and the peoples of the two countries.

In his congratulatory message dated 17th August, to President Lungu, the King pledged continued collaboration with the President and the Zambian government to consolidate the relations between Zambia and Morocco based on fruitful cooperation and active solidarity.

King Mohammed VI says this cooperation will help serve the interests of the peoples of the two countries and contribute to promoting unity, stability and progress on the African continent.

“On the occasion of your re-election as President of the Republic of Zambia, it gives me great pleasure to send you my warmest congratulations, together with my best wishes for good health, happiness and continued success in your endeavours to lead your people towards further progress and prosperity,” King Mohammed VI said.
