MLC MOURNS MWALE

The Media Liaison Committee -MLC- has described late UNZA lecturer Gerald Mwale as an outstanding Journalist.

Committee Chairperson Enock Ngoma says his team will cherishes Mr. Mwale’ s commitment towards the establishment of the Zambia Media Council (ZAMEC) and his unwavering need to always fight for a free media in Zambia.

Mr. Ngoma says Mr. Mwale was always available when called upon to work with the MLC.

He says during his years at ZNBC, Mr. Mwale always exhibited professional ethics in ensuring that coverage of news was fair and factual.

Mr. Ngoma says a good number of upcoming journalists have gone through the tutelage of Mr. Mwale at the University of Zambia where he was a senior lecturer.

Mr. Mwale died yesterday at Levy Mwanawasa Teaching Hospital.
