MINISTRY OF LANDS CHANGES STANCE ON TITLE DEED

The Ministry of Lands says it will only issue title deeds under the National Land Titling Programme once land owners pay the full amount.

Programme Project Manager, EMMANUEL TEMBO says most land owners do not pay the full amount once the title is issued.

And Mr. TEMBO told ZNBC News that the ministry has issued 10,479 land titles in the first quarter of 2023 under the National Land Titling Programme.

He said the target for the first quarter was 15,000 titles but failed some land owners did not make payments after receiving offer letters.
