Military Staff Told To Stay Healthy

Defence Minister Davies Chama has urged military personnel to adopt a healthy lifestyle and guard against communicable and non-communicable diseases.Chama says this is because lifestyle and behavioral change are necessary for a health workforce.He has reminded personnel that President Edgar Lungu, who is also commander in chief of the defence forces has led by example in championing a healthy and active lifestyle.The Defence Minister was speaking in a speech read on his behalf by Ministry of Defence Acting Director Human Resources, Anthony Chilengi at Sports activities to mark Defense force day held at Olympic Youth Development Centre in Lusaka. Chama also called for collaboration among the service men and women.And by broadcast time, Zambia Army, Zambia National Service and Zambia Air force teams were still competing in various sports disciplines.
