Margaret Mwanakatwe has posted a historic victory to become the the first indigenous Zambian and female to win Lusaka Central Constituency since the reintroduction of multi party politics in 1991.

Mwanakatwe defeated Charlotte Scott whose husband, Guy, held the place for 10 years.
