MANSA HOLDS ECL CUP

Muwanguni Football club of Mansa are the Champions of the 2021 EDGAR CHAGWA LUNGU football tournament.

This is after they beat Mabumba football club by two goals to one in a game played on Sunday in Mansa.

The fifty thousand rich tournament saw the champions walking away with ten thousand kwacha while the runners up went home with seven thousand kwacha cash.

And the sponsor of the tournament, President Edgar Lungu said the initiative is aimed at empowering youths by allowing them to showcase their skills.

Speaking on behalf of President Lungu, PF member of the central committee Chitalu Chilufya announced that prizes for next year’s tournament will be doubled in order to inspire more young ones to play the game.
