MANGANGO VOTES:POLICE READY TO DEAL WITH VIOLENCE

Minister of Home Affairs Stephen Kampyongo says there is enough police man power to deal with possible perpetrators of violence in the campaigns ahead of the Mangango Parliamentary by-election.
Mr. Kampyongo says police have been deployed to Mangango to ensure security ahead of the polls.
He was speaking in an interview with journalists at City Airport in Lusaka.
Mr. Kampyongo also dispelled allegations that police are stopping opposition parties from conducting campaigns.
He said those making such allegations are anxious of electoral defeat.
The Mangango Parliamentary by-election take place on November 20, 2018
The election was necessitated by the death of United Party for National Development-UPND’s Naluwa Mweene who was Mangango Constituency member of parliament.
