Man Kills Wife for Being Drunk

A man of Mwense District has allegedly killed his wife after he found her drunk in their house in the early hours of this morning.36-year-old Jessie Mwape of Kapakala East Village was allegedly beaten with a wooden axe handle and planks by her husband Daniel Kabaso around 01:00hrs.Luapula Province Police Commissioner Elias Chushi has told ZNBC News that Police visited the crime scene and found her lifeless body facing downwards.Mr Chushi said the body was found with cuts on the head, limbs and was bleeding from the mouth.He said the husband, who had been warning his wife over her beer habits, is now on the run.
