Mambilima MP Suspended for 30 days

Mambilima Member of Parliament JEAN CHISENGA has been suspended from Parliament for 30 day for gross disorderly conduct.

This will be with effect from March 28th 2024.

Delivering the ruling, First Deputy Speaker MALUNGO CHISANGANO said that Ms CHISENGA’s conduct brought the house into disrepute.

Ms CHISANGANO says the misconduct of Ms CHISENGA does not align with the values of the house.

Ms CHISENGA suspension follows a complaint by Muchinga Constituency Member of Parliament  EMMANUEL BANDA on her behaviour   towards  President HAKAINDE HICHILAMA on 15th March 2024, as he was leaving Parliament.
