MAKEMBO ADVISES AGAINST WRANGLING IN FOOTBALL

By Chansa Kunda- Football stakeholders have appealed to the winning and losing candidates in the just ended FAZ elections to work together and develop Zambian football.

Zambia Sports Fans Association -ZASPOFA- Patron Peter Makembo says wrangling and football politics should be put aside for the betterment of the game.

He says with elections now an event of the past all parties that took part in elections must now focus on the progress on the game.

He told ZNBC Sports News that it is time for elected executive members to work hard and ensure that the country qualifies for the world Cup and Afcon tournaments.

And Football Analyst Gershom Simukoko said the councilors clearly gave an indication of which leader they wanted as evidenced by the voting pattern.
