Lwandamina confident Zesco United will bounce back

Zambia Police sponsored outfit High Flying Nkwazi edged Zesco United 1-0 in a rescheduled week 8 encounter played at Emboela Stadium on Wednesday.
This was the third loss for the defending Champions this season but Zesco United head coach George Lwandamina, however, believes that all hope is not lost. He feels his team only lost concentration to concede a goal but they played well overall.
“It was not that difficult, I know the Result will tell that it was difficult, we just lost concentration and we gave them a goal and we tried to come back but they were strong and everyone was behind the ball it seems that’s the football they will be playing against Zesco but the boys played,” he said.
Lwandamina who made changes to his team explained that he needed to give other players a little rest as they were exhausted.
“If you saw the composition of the team it was slightly different from the usual starters, it is in the same vain that we give others a little bit of rest more especially with the intensity of the game coupled with travel and they could show even in training that these people are tired,” he said.
“If you saw even in Adrian we tried to keep and Jesse just to inspire the other group, but the result which we are getting it’s just a phase am sure will come over it after we play to three-quarters of the game,” he added.
Despite losing back to back Coach Lwandamina is positive his side will bounce back because they have what it takes.
“These are Champions they have been in this situation before am sure they are trying, you could see that they want to get the best result out of this game But football being what it is we are still finding ourselves in the same predicament but they are not losing hope, so they will overcome it and that is what we work on,” he explained.
The Ndola based side are Fourth on the Log table with 31 points, their next game will be against Zanaco in a Super Sunday Action to be played at Sunset Stadium.
