Lusambo To Work with Schools on Classroom Expansion

Lusaka province minister Bowman Lusambo has pledged to work with school administrators who are proactive in expanding classroom space for learners.Mr. Lusambo says schools should be innovative and Not rely on government for everything.Speaking when he addressed teachers at Kapwelyomba Primary School in Lusaka, Mr. Lusambo thanked management at the school for embarking on the construction of a classroom block with the help of the Teacher Parent Association Committee.He said the move is in line with government’s agenda of increasing access to education for all in both rural and urban areas.Mr Lusambo also pledged to donate one thousand building blocks and 200 pockets of cements towards the project.And Kapwelyomba Primary school Headteacher Daniel Zulu thanked the minister for the gesture and assured him of the school’s support towards government’s effort of improving the education infrastructure in the country.Meanwhile Chakunkula ward 32 councilor Smart Mwiitwa said his office will continue facilitating the implementation of such developmental projects.
