LUSAMBO CAUTIONS CIVIL SERVANTS

Lusaka Province Minister Bowman Lusambo has urged civil servants in Lusaka Province to concentrate on serving the people in a professional manner.

Mr. Lusambo said this when he addressed the Provincial Development Coordinating Committee -PDCC- this morning.

He noted that civil servants are a conduit through which government implements the developmental aspirations of the people.

Mr. Lusambo urged Provincial and District Heads of Department to explain the developmental projects that government has been undertaking in various sectors.

He noted that there are numerous developmental projects that have been undertaken in various sectors that people may not be aware.

And Provincial Permanent Secretary Elias Kamanga has assured civil servants in Lusaka that they will be protected against political party cadres.

Mr. Kamanga noted that the incident that occurred recently where a civil servant was harassed by cadres will not be tolerated.
