Lusaka Dynamos secure Heroes stadium
Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) super division side Lusaka Dynamos have secured Heroes Stadium as the venue for all their home games for this year’s season.
Club Chief Executive Officer Simataa Simataa disclosed yesterday that Dynamos will use the facility as part of their objective of making the club a force in Zambia’s football.
He disclosed Dynamos was also on a drive to register former players, coaches and officials so that they could watch all the home games for free in honour of their service to the club since its establishment in 1979.
“Heroes Stadium is a venue of international standards and has very good facilities in terms of dressing rooms and the pitch which both add up to the quality football we want to see,” Simataa said.
“We have also a policy where we want all former players, coaches and officials to register for seasonal cards so that they have access to our home matches for free.
“We are asking them to quickly register themselves with us so that we give them seasonal tickets for themselves and their spouses.”
Dynamos kick-off their campaign with a home match against Power Dynamos on April 8.
