Lusaka City Council and Eddy Nicollo Company roll out free Wi-Fi

THE Lusaka City Council and it’s WiFi Technical Partner, Eddy Nicollo Company, for Free WiFi Project in public places have begun testing.

The Free WiFi Project, a brainchild of Zambia’s High Commissioner to South Africa, Emmanuel Mwamba has since been signed and the technical aspects and equipment being tested.

“We are holding talks with mobile companies and equipment suppliers that will make this project feasible” said team leader Gugulethu Gwamanda.

“We are currently looking at the possibility of providing free WiFi at a public rally to test the heavy loads required for such a project”. Gwamanda said.
