Lungu widens his lead with 90 constituencies counted
Incumbent President Edgar Lungu has stretched his lead over his closest rival Hakainde Hichilema to 114,803 with 66 constituencies yet to be announced.
Consolidated votes from 90 constituencies announced by the Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) have seen Lungu score 955,035 votes, while UPND candidate Hichilema got 840,232 votes.
From the 90 constituencies, 59 have gone to Lungu while Hichilema has taken 31.
