LUNGU THANKS CHIEFS FOR ACKNOWLEDGING DEVELOPMENT

President Edgar Lungu has thanked Chieftainess Chungu and Chief Tungati of Lupososhi district in Northern Province for acknowledging the development which government has undertaken in the area.
President Lungu says it is important that people acknowledge developments that have taken place in their areas.
He says some people do not acknowledge government projects aimed at developing their areas.
President Lungu was speaking in Lupososhi district on Friday when he paid a courtesy call on Chieftainess Chungu and Chief Tungati.
Earlier Chieftainess Chungu said government has delivered development in sectors such as health, energy and agriculture.
She said the creation of Lupososhi district will bridge the development gap between the people in rural and urban parts.
