LUNGU quits politics

Losing Chipata District National Restoration Party – NAREP -2021 mayoral candidate WATSON LUNGU has resigned from the party and active politics after being recruited in the just ended teacher recruitment exercise.

Mr. LUNGU says he will now contribute to the development of the country in the civil service and pledged to serve the country diligently as a teacher.

He says he will adhere to the code of ethics that governs the teaching service.

In 2016, Mr. LUNGU also contested the Chipata Central parliamentary seat on the UNIP ticket but lost to former Chipata Central Member of Parliament MOSES MAWERE.
