Lungu nominates Mumbi Phiri as MP

President Edgar Lungu has with immediate effect nominated Mumbi Phiri as Member of Parliament.

The nomination of Phiri who is also Deputy Secretary General for the ruling PF comes after President Lungu revoked the nomination of Lucky Mulusa whom he fired as Minister of National Planning.

The nomination announcement is contained in a press statement released by Press Aide Amos Chanda today, Thursday.
