Lungu demands quick action on China deals

KASUBA MULENGA, Beijing
PRESIDENT Edgar Lungu has directed all ministers who have signed agreements, on behalf of Zambia, with various Chinese companies to immediately start implementing the deals.
The head of State said any delay in implementing the cooperation agreements could derail the purpose for which they were signed.
Special Assistant to the President for Press and Public Relations Amos Chanda said this yesterday when he gave an update on Mr Lungu’s tour of duty in China.
“The President expects very decisive and rapid actualisation of the signed agreements. He wants them to be implemented as quickly as possible, and he has given specific instructions to relevant ministers,” Mr Chanda said.http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm/
