Lumumba challenges African youth to compete globally

By Patricia Banda-Renowned Kenyan Professor PATRICK LUMUMBA has challenged the youth to prepare themselves to compete at the global stage.

Professor LUMUMBA says Zambia has got skilled youths who can contribute to the development of the country and Africa as a whole.

He says Africa is ready to compete at the world stage and all it needs are educated young people.

Professor LUMUMBA was speaking when he officiated at Eden University’s 9th Graduation Ceremony in Lusaka.

And Eden University Chancellor ROBERT SERPELL said his institution will offer education which responds to the needs of the people.

Meanwhile, Eden University Chief Executive Officer KELVIN KAUNDA said the University has graduated students for the first time in the field of fire Engineering and rescue management.
