Lubambo Musonda: DR Congo Won’t Be Easy Game

Chipolopolo Captain Lubambo Musonda says the team is determined to open its  Africa Cup campaign on a good note despite facing stiff competition from neighboring Democratic Republic of Congo in the first game.

The Dannish based winger said the January 17 fixture will not be easy.

He says the team is however pushing hard in training to ensure they adequately prepare for the encounter.

Speaking from the team’s base in Saudi Arabia, MUSONDA said all the players are fit and are giving their best in training.

And Midfielder FREDRICK MULAMBIA said Tuesday’s friendly game against Cameroon is key in helping the team as it will expose areas that need to be worked on before the continental showpiece commences.

MULAMBIA said despite the competition being stiff, the team aims to be crowded Champions.

The Power Dynamos Midfielder who is among the  players making a debut at the competition, says he is eager to represent the country at the Africa Cup.
