Luanshya To Cancel CDF Funded Projects

The Luanshya Municipal Council is in a process of terminating some CDF-funded contracts due to underperformance in Roan and Luanshya Constituencies.

This is according to a Council resolution made during the full Council meeting last week.

Luanshya Mayor CHARLES MULENGA has told ZNBC news that some contractors have underperformed while others are struggling to complete projects as prescribed in the contracts.

He said the Council is currently conducting an assessment over project execution especially those that were awarded in 2022 and are beyond the stipulated schedule.

Meanwhile, School Authorities at Roan Combined School are concerned with the delayed completion of a Water reticulation project at the school.
