Luangeni MP appeals for funds for stalled school works

Christopher Miti-Luangeni Member of Parliament Moses Moyo has appealed for more funding from the government to complete the construction of long awaited Chikando High School.
Mr Moyo says the construction of the school started in 2011 but the works stalled after the disappearance of the contractor.
He says he is hopeful that the school will receive some funding from the 2023 Constituency Development Fund.
Mr Moyo who is also Second Deputy Speaker of National Assembly was speaking when he toured the school.
And School headteacher Moses Mwale says the construction of the school  is moving at a slow pace with funding from the ministry of education.
Mr Mwale says he is happy that the school will benefit from the 600 desks that will be purchased using the CDF.
