Livingstone Introduces dog breeders Permit

The Livingstone City Council has introduced a dog breeding permit to regulate the increasing dog breeding practice in the tourist capital.

The annual permit has been put at 2,500 Kwacha.

Livingstone City Council Public Relations Manager, MELVIN MUKELA has told ZNBC News in an interview that the permit is also meant to promote animal welfare.

Mr MUKELA has encouraged dog breeders to comply by getting the permit failure to which the law will be enforced.
